Hi All
Apologies as im pretty sure this is covered somewhere, but i thought id ask, can you install above on a Server VM inside the environment its backing up? or do you need to install it on a separate box?

If you mean installing the backup server on VMware / Hyper-V and backing up VMware / Hyper-V VMs from the same system: yes, you can.

It's perfectly fine to have backup server installed on Virtual Machine. Don't forget to back up its configuration occasionally. Thanks!
