Hello!
I'm trying to setup a Plasmon disc unit to setup an archive process with Veeam.
I have a VM that holds all business related files (Word, Excel, etc) and i have my Veeam Backup with 30 days retention set automatically.
So my Plasmon has a NAS and i want to store all the .VRB files to extend my retention time up to a year because i dont have enough space in my Veeam storage to have more than 30 days.
How many times i need to refresh my .VBK file?
Can i use a .VRB file from 4 months ago with my current .VBK file?
I need ideas to solve this, also i want to make a backup with ArcServe and...
Can i use differential backup to process the 30 files? ( .VRB and .VRK)
i been searching this forum some hours now and maybe im not using the correct keywords. Any help will be appreciated.
Btw, excellent product, i love it.

Re: Veeam Backup Files and Plasmon, ArcServe
Yes, as long as you have all the other VRB files between 4-month old VRB, and current VBK. The VRB chain must be uninterruped.hlmaldon wrote:Can i use a .VRB file from 4 months ago with my current .VBK file?
