Veeam backup incremental and full ?
Hi There
Running Veeam 9 on ESXi 6.0
We run a backup against a simple file server VM with standard settings :
-Incremental (recommended) every day at 20:00
-Active Full backup, create full backups periodically Montly first Saturday.
But it is running full backup every day ?
Why is this happening ?

Re: Veeam backup incremental and full ?
Can you provide a screenshot of storage -> advanced -> backup settings? Thanks.

Re: Veeam backup incremental and full ?
Why do you think it does full every time? What backup files to you have in the repository?

Not sure ?
But the history states full on every backup and I see full backups in repository
see picture :

Should it not do incremental instead ?

Re: Veeam backup incremental and full ?
Based on the provided screenshots, it should. The only guess I've had is that the job might be executed to via Task Scheduler (PS script or something) and the script instructs job to run full backup always.
But even in this case the label should have been "Active full" instead of "full".
I'd recommend reaching support team with that.
Thanks.
