DB2 itself isn't a supported application from Veeam but you can use start/stop scripts in order to get a consistent state.
Regarding the IBM I V7R3MO; is this an AS400 with PowerPC Architecture? If so, you want be able to backup this server with Veeam as this is a non supported platform.
