Veeam Backup & Replication and ESXi Free

Hello,

I was just wondering: Does Veeam not work with a ESXi free or does it work but when problems are encountered, one cannot count on the Veeam support helpdesk ? How do we have to interpret 'Veeam doesn't support ESXi free addition' ?

Els, per VMware's request, starting Veeam Backup version 3.1 we have completely disabled ability to process free ESXi in the code via hard-coded ESXi license level check. So even though technically the capability is still in the code, it is completely disabled and thus impossible to use.
