Hello,
I would like to test the Veeam Backup & Replication Community version privately. I plan to install it on a Windows 10 Pro PC and then use it to back up the family laptops. I call the PC server. I want to make two backups of this server. One of the system and one of the data drive, each on a USB hard disk connected to the server.
My question is as follows. With the agent I can only set up one backup job without a license. If the agent is controlled by Veeam Backup & Replication Community, can I set up these two backups on the server PC with the 10 licenses?
Best regards

Re: Veeam Backup & Replication Community License Question
Hi Tasil,

Check the links above, but should be fine. Community Edition allows you to protect up to 10 workloads, so should not be an issue for just a few laptops. Consider if you're evaluating for purchase using the Evaluation License in the My Account section of the site, as the evaluation license should be more than enough.

Re: Veeam Backup & Replication Community License Question
Yes thanks, thats a lot of information. I'm thinking of buying the Essential version. But I want to test the Community Version first. The question is whether I can run 2 different backups on one workstation. I hope that's not a problem.

Re: Veeam Backup & Replication Community License Question
Hi Tasil,
Not a problem at all, should be fine.

Give our licensing page in the User Guide a read, but for your tests you should not hit any issues.
