Hello,
My company bought licenses for Veeam Backup & Replication v6.5 (12 Hyper-V sockets & 12 VMware sockets).
My question is: do I have to use 2 separate Veeam Backup & Replication servers (one for Hyper-V & one for VMware ESX) to apply the 2 separate license files, or I can combine both Hyper-V & VMware licenses into a single license file & apply it to a single Veeam Backup & Replication server?
Kindly advise.
Thank you.

Re: Veeam Backup & Replication Licensing Question
Hi, Mohamed,
In fact, there is no need to use 2 separate VB&R servers; the existing license files can be merged into one without any issues. For doing it kindly contact your sales representative.
Hope this helps.
Thanks.

Re: Veeam Backup & Replication Licensing Question
John, you do need the same product edition in all your licenses to be able to merge them.
