Hi All,
I am new to working with Veeam.
I have a physical server windows 2012. It's has hyper v with 3 virtual machines.
I am using veeam to backup the 3 vm's to a NAS box.
Is it possible to backup the host machine without including the 3 hyper virtual machines usiung veeam?
The host(Physical Server) contains VM1 , VM2 VM3.
Thanks in advance would appreciate any help I can get.

Hi Marcus,
You cannot do it with Veeam B&R, but you can use Veeam Endpoint Backup (free agent based backup) to protect your Hyper-V host.
Thanks!

Yes, you need to select a volume level backup and choose the data drive which is used for system partition and skip the one for hosting VM files.
