Veeam backups with SimpliVity OmniCube

Hello All,

Has anyone successfully used Veeam with a SimpliVity Omnicube? As I understand it, SimpliVity works with both Hyper-V and VMWare so it should work with Veeam B&R. I'd like to know if anyone has had any success with this or ran into any issues trying to implement it?

Correct, Veeam B&R interacts with the hypervisor so it should work fine.

We have several customers using this without any problems.

I can backup what vmniels said from the SimpliVity perspective. We have several customers successfully utilizing Veeam B&R on OmniCube.

anyone has result on throughtput backup using veeam on simplivity? Had a case opened 03501553 on slow backup throughput & customer want to have an idea on worldwide deployment (veeam and simplivity) performance.
