Hello -
Veeam recommends having BRC and BEM on separate servers.
We currently have BRC and BEM on a Win2K16 server.
I have built two Win2K19 servers to host BRC and BEM separately.
I want to confirm I have the order of operations correct for the new BRC and BEM servers:
Install Veeam Backup and Replication on both individual servers
Point it to the existing SQL database sitting on another server
On the BRC server install BRC
On the BEM server install BEM

Re: Veeam BRC, BEM on separate servers
Hi Lewisf
Can you share what you mean by BRC? This is not an official acronym used by us.
Backup Remote Console?
The migration process for both Veeam Backup & Replication and Veeam Enterprise Manager is documented in our kb article: https://www.veeam.com/kb1889
Best,
Fabian
