Hi there,
I found a pattern that if a backup copy is incomplete, Veeam seems don't know how to merge it to full backup. Always give out failed to generate points error.
Is there any way to fix it? I have encounter this problem many times now.

Active full backup copy, the temperary solution for this issue, is not an good option to some large VMs. They will take days to copy over to offsite.
Thanks

Re: Veeam can't handle incomplete backup copy when merging
Most likely it needs to wait for the next cycle to be able to merge incomplete point along with all the rest of required blocks that are contained in the next restore point. I'd let support to take a look at what you're seeing to confirm whether this is expected behavior or needs to be investigated.

Hi Foggy,
These errors have occurred in the past 3 backup copy cycle, and there is only one incomplete backup copy point.
I will upload the latest log of that Backup Copy job to the case.
