Veeam Cloud Backup and open files

All VM's perfectly backupped by VBR.
But besides that on the SAN is an additional big CIFS-LUN which has te be backupped.

For the Cloud Edition there is not many to find at this moment.
The open files (for example Access-databases and Excel-files) CAN be copied with Windows 8. But when backing up these files with Veeam Backup Cloud Edition'it gives an error on these files:
"This process cannot access the file ''\\path\xxx.xls because it is being used by another process".

Any suggestion?
(to convert the files of the CIFS into a VM is not an option in this case).

Have you already tried to restart a given cloud backup by clicking Run Backup in Cloud Backup console? Thanks.

Retry and succeslfull only works if the file has been closed in the meantime. And that's what many users don't do. Guess I hav to backup a snapshot of the SAN-Volume or something.

If Veeam could add NDMP support to the Cloud Edition it would work. That's the way others like DataProtector and BackupExec can succesfull backup those open files.
