Veeam Cloud Backup Options

We installed our new Hyper-V host a couple of weeks ago and currently we’re backing up our three on-site VMs with Veeam to a local NAS. This is working great.

We’d now like to get Veeam backing up off-site to the cloud as well and I was wondering what the best way of doing this would be.

I’ve read some info on using Veeam Cloud Connect via one of their partners and this sounds like a good option. We’ve got about 2TB of data to back up.

We’re just looking for a simple cloud backup mechanism within Veeam that will give us the same backup/restore mechanisms that backing up locally to the NAS gives us.

Hi Chris,

Yes, if you want to send backup copies to an off-site location and also keep an ability to quickly restore or even do instant VM recovery, then I would recommend taking a look at Veeam Cloud Connect providers that are available in your region and discuss all available options with them.
