Veeam Configuration Backup

Hi,

I see what Veaem Configuration Backup covers here: http://helpcenter.veeam.com/backup/80/v ... onfig.html.

What DOESN'T Configuration Backup cover? I need to recommend a backup solution for several consoles, and I'm assuming that backing all consoles up to our \\corporate\cifs location will be suffice. We need Jobs, Retention History, Resource Config (Proxies, Repos, Cluster Inventories) All to be available when I perform a restore from configuration backup.

TL;DR Is there anything that sits in my healthy console view now that won't be there from a Configuration Backup based restore?

Hi, Charley. Depends on the product version - v7 was missing credentials, tape catalog and session history, but v8 covers everything I can think of. Thanks!
