Hello,
One of our customers complained that when he works on the Veeam Console Gui, espacially when configuring Jobs or edits jobs the Veeam Backup Console disappears from the desktop, although if a job is running replication or backup is not affected.
If he re-run the shortcut of the program it is opening without problem. It happens randomly.
This was very strange behavior and we would like to know if there is a know issue or someone else has ever experienced this.
The installation is on Windows 2k3 x64 Sp2, local SQL.. very typical.
The Veeam version is 5.0.1.198.hf1

Re: Veeam Console Dissapears but Service works normal.
Hello, we've never had this issue reported before. Do you see any other applications affected by this? Does this customer use Remote Desktop to access Veeam console?

Re: Veeam Console Dissapears but Service works normal.
No, not remote desktop.
The Veeam server is working as a VM and they are using the vSphere console to access it.
It is very strange and it happened also to us while we were there and were editing an existing job, suddenly all Veeam windows vanished!
We re-fired the desktop application icon and then we were able to do.
It is completely randomly when this issue occurs.

Please contact our support team for further assistance since we have no ideas left on what it could be.
