Veeam Databaes Backup Shows ? when attempting to restore.

Hello Everyone,

Have anyone come across Question mark in Veeam Explorer for SQL for the Veeam database backup?

The actually message that I see is as follow "Required database metadata was not collected due to backup job settings or lack of permission, so some restore operation may not be supported see KB2788 for more information," when I was trying to restore the Veeam database for support.

Now I have taken a look at the suggested article and I can confirm that I am not excluding any drive in which the LDF or MDF might be on. I have also verified that the backup job has completed successfully without any warning message and that AAIP is enable.

Lastly, my case # is 05182991.

Hi Vinh, provided AAIP backup was 100% successful, all the data required for restore should be collected. Please let our engineers investigate the log files for a possible reason.
