Hello -
I am being asked to provide proof of Veeam's deletion process once restore points are past their retention period either on the local performance tier or the capacity tier which for us is S3 storage from a cloud provider. I can't think of a way to provide evidence that Veeam is doing what it is supposed to do regarding the deletion process. Maybe I'm overthinking this, but any help would be appreciated in pointing me in the right direction.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Veeam Deletion Process
Hello,
If you click on the settings wheel/page icon at the very bottom right of the Home pane on the left side of VBR Console you can view job history. Under the "System" section is "Background Retention" jobs and their status. Each entry should provide exact details on what was performed and if the result was successful.
Change job history settings in VBR Console "Options" -> "History"

Re: Veeam Deletion Process
Thanks. I'm hoping the scale-out offload history will be evidence enough. Bell went off when I read your reply.
