Dear friends,
I have a job set up in Veeam that clones a Windows machine.
The job is configured to perform a full 1x per week.
I need to set up a second routine to run an incremental job every 30 minutes, but I don't see that option in Veeam.
Could you help me?

Re: Veeam every 30min
Hello Rodrigo
Can you please share if this question is about a physical machine or a virtual one?
For virtual:
- backup job: You can schedule the same backup job to run periodically every 30 minutes: https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... ml?ver=120
- Replication job: Depending on your use case, consider to use a replication job to clone a machine: https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... ml?ver=120
For physical:
- Agent in Server mode --> periodically every 30 minutes: https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... ml?ver=120
- Agent in workstation mode --> periodic scheduler not available. You may try for a workaround a PowerShell script/task scheduler on the backup server to run a backup every 30 minutes: https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... ml?ver=120
Please also be aware, for backups every 30 minutes, it may make sense to have more than 1 weekly full backup. Or your backup chains will get really long (336 restore points per week).
Best,
Fabian

Re: Veeam every 30min
Dear Mildur,
I think you solved a riddle... the copy of Veeam is from a physical machine (station) managed by Veeam from a physical server.
I am using the agent in workstation mode, however, managed by a Veeam server. I think that's why I couldn't configure the work for every 30 minutes.
I'm going to evaluate the palliative via powershell to see if it will work for us. We are still in the POC of the solution, so I believe there is still time to change something if necessary, for example, the Veem mode from station to server.
I'll get back here with the results soon.
Thank you friend.

Re: Veeam every 30min
Dear Mildura,
His guidance was of great help. I applied for a temporary license
on the server so that it would show me the server mode and with that, the backup option by time/minute would appear.
I redid the settings and at first everything was fine, running every 30 minutes and restoring successfully.
I was careful to activate more than 1 full per week to reduce restore points. Thanks for the tip.
