Veeam Explorer for Exchange - edb in use by another process

Post by jldwyer1420 »

this is my first attempt in using the explorer for Exchange. I added the correct ese.dll from my Exchange 2010 clustered environment. When i try to add a store, I point it to one of the EDB database files and receive the message, "The process cannot access the file <.....database.edb> because it is being used by another process. I have 2 servers in my DAG group. - JD

Could it be, that you are trying to open a production edb database from a live server? If yes, that will not work as long the information store service is running.
