Veeam Explorer for Microsoft SQL Server for backup operator ?

Hi,

We are starting to implement SQL backup using backup & replication. I know i can use the SQL Explorer form the server to do a restore but the business need is for the DBA to be able to perform restores on SQL.

I'm trying to find a client version only of the explorer but only the full package of Backup & replication contains it.
We have setup also web interface of Orchestrator and backup and replication (and veeam one)

How can i give access or where is -if exists- a client version that a backup operator with specific rights of restoring only SQL backups can be done ?
Is there a WEB page we can use ?
if there is an application what type of permissions we should give for a backup operator.

We definitely want to avoid RDP to the backup server even with minimum permissions.

Hello Vassilis,

Did you consider using Enterprise manager?
There is a possibility to configure the role with restore scope.
Will this be enough for your needs?

Yes, it's all available via web UI. So I believe you might want to give it a try
