Hi,
we have licenced ESXi 3.5 (not free ESXi) server and Veeam Backup says "Your Veeam Backup license does not allow processing of free ESXi 3.5." when backup job is started. Where is the problem?
Veeam backup 3.1.1

Pavel, we just query VMware API to determine whether the host is in "free" functionality mode, and it tells us. Please double check the license key imported in your host. Try to re-import "full" key. Note that "free" and "full" keys look alike and you may have confused them.

i have the same problem and no soltion.
I checked the licence in veeam an in vm esxi. everthing is fine, but i doesnt works.

Marcus, it should work if ESXi host is fully licensed - please contact our support and they will assist you with this issue.
