Hello experts,
How are you doing today?
I have an easy question. If I have a physical domain controller and I want to back it up, I obviously will need a Veeam agent for Windows license. However, without VBR, I won't be able to restore AD objects (users, groups, etc.). My question is, can I do the following?
1- Install VBR free edition (without a VBR license) on a server.
2- Log in to the console and from there install the veeam agent for windows license.
3- Configure app aware backups of the physical domain controller.
4- Perform granular restore of AD objects.
Thank you in advance!!
