Veeam NFS Mount
I just started working on setting up Veeam B&R 7r2 to connect to a Data Domain DD860, i have created an NFS share on the data domain and thought i could attach directly into the data domain from the veeam console using a NFS attached Data repository. But the Data repository ask me where the server is serving the repository, even though the data domain runs NFS will i still need a Linux server to mount the NFS share and then attach to the Linux server.

Re: Veeam NFS Mount
Use a cifs share instead, there is little or no performance difference.

Yes, Veeam agent requires Perl and SSH on the Linux-type repository, so you need to deploy regular Linux server to mount the NFS share to and add this server as a backup repository to Veeam B&R console.chrisBrindley wrote:even though the data domain runs NFS will i still need a Linux server to mount the NFS share and then attach to the Linux server.
