I believe, the new build includes a fix for the new ESX 4.1 U3 issue mentioned in the Known Issues sticky.
I knew we were planning to update the patch, but did not expect this to happen this soon :D

If the old patch 1 (build 204) has been applied, can we safely run the new patch 1 (build 205) ?

Patch 1b (build 205) is just a rebuilt version of the patch 1a (build 204) with added fix for the ESX 4.1 U3 issue. It can be applied either to the clean Veeam B&R 6.1 (build 181) or to Veeam B&R 6.1 with patch 1a (build 204) installed.
