Hi,
Our Oracle databases are protected by Transparent Data Encryption (TDE). Is the Veeam plugin capable of backing up such databases, and how will this affect the size of backups? We need compressed backups due to limitations in the storage. Now we use the built-in RMAN compression (high level compression).

Re: Veeam plug-in and Oracle Transparent Data Encryption
Hi Ulan,
thanks for the request. We just provide a Plug-in for RMAN and allow them to use our backup targets. On top of it we do Veeam inline dedup and compression.
You can use our target together with existing RMAN compression and it will achive same results.
