Veeam Plug-in for SAP HANA 11 : RHEL for SAP Solutions 8.6

SAP HANA 2.0 SPS06 had been released last year, and is de facto the default mainstream version for any S/4HANA, BW/4HANA or SAP on HANA deployement. SAP and RHEL recommends to install RHEL for SAP Solutions 8 version 8.6 as per sap note https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2235581
RHEL for SAP Solutions 8 version 8. 8.5 is not supported by SAP.
According to the requirements link, there is not supported on RHEL for SAP Solutions 8 version 8.6 .

HANA 2.0 SPS06 is the mainstrem version of of SAP Database, We do not want to downgrade our operating systems to RHEL for SAP Solutions 8 version 8. 8.4 to able to use Veeam Backup & Replication 11 . I opened an incident/case(Case # 05677716 ), just to be answered to open a thread on this forum
Is there any plan om Veeam roadmap to support RHEL for SAP Solutions 8 (x86_64): 8.6 ?

Hello,

We constantly monitor new releases of all distros supported by SAP HANA to add them to our testing plan, in the vast majority of cases it just works out of the box. Looks like SAP included support for RHEL 8.6 not so long ago. The support of RHEL for SAP Solutions 8.6 is on our roadmap and we'll deliver it in one of our next releases, maybe even in version 12 but I cannot give 100 % accurate ETA now.
