Hi all,
I have an RMAN Plugin installed on a physical server and configured in standalone mode.
The target VBR has a v12 with a per-socket license with some free instances.
The problem is that the VBR license expired yesterday, and the free instances (used only by the RMAN plugin) reset to 0..
What is the smartest and fastest way to solve the issue in the meantime that the license is renewed? Can I use a trial license, for example?

Re: Veeam Plugin for Oracle RMAN license
Hi, Marco. We can't officially advise using a trial license in this scenario as it would be against EULA, which specifically limits the usage of this license type to evaluation only. If I were you, I would contact your Veeam sales rep and explain the situation, and they should be able to issue a time-limited license for you to use while the renewal is being processed. Thanks!
