veeam portal login via microsoft/google/etc. not possible anymore?

Post by mcz »

Hi veeam-guys,

since friday I can't login via microsoft or google to my veeam account:

https://my.veeam.com

Is this on purpose or has something gone wrong?

Thanks!

Hello,
veeam.com is out of scope of Veeam R&D and so these forums, but I will ask whether something has changed.

I can still see the external login buttons when trying to access whitepapers. If you sign in there, is it working then? https://www.veeam.com/whitepapers.html

Best regards,

I'm guessing it could be country-specific restriction due to some local laws etc.

Please keep in mind veeam.com has a chat (bottom right corner) which is usually a better path for any web site specific questions.

I got a preliminary answer from support: it was intentionally removed. I did not get the definite reason yet, but it was "on purpose" (to answer your question)
