Veeam replication always backing up entire VM

Hi.

Just started using Veeam replication 3.1. It seems to replicate the entire 400 GB VM every time it runs. I was under the impression that veeam would run a full backup and then make incremental changes for the rest of the job. Have I configured something incorrectly? Any help appreciated.
