Hi. I have repositories with Windows 2016 and ReFs file system, I found that my storage is not freeing up space after deleting data in the file system.
I´m trying to move data that I have in ReFs file system formatted in 64kb to one with Ntfs. I´m copying the data through Veeam's File Copy tool in a repository that I have for backup copy.
When trying to modify the corresponding backup repository it indicates to me that the new fs does not support fast cloning.
Do you think that since there is no fast cloning, the fs with ntfs can take up a lot of space? Anyway, due to that storage limitation I consider that I will not have any other option than to change to ntfs.
Are there any difficulties in using NTFS file system?
Thanks and regards.

Re: Veeam repositories with ReFS file system
Not sure about the means used to copy data between ReFS and NTFS, but yes, such operation will inflate data size. Thanks!

Re: Veeam repositories with ReFS file system
Could you please elaborate on that limitation? What exactly causes you to move to NTFS?
