Hi,
Is't possible to connect and disconnect local volume presented by SAN/DAS before and after backup job? Or Is better to send data to SFTP or FTP repository?
This is simple for network shares NFS/CIFS.

Re: Veeam Repository: connect / disconnect share or volume
Hi, Biagio!
Yes, you should be able to achieve that using pre- and post-job script. You'd just have to make sure there's no overlapping jobs using the same target.
Better for what?

Re: Veeam Repository: connect / disconnect share or volume
This depends on your target repository. How is your repository server presented to Veeam? Is this a Linux server with a NFS share or are you using SMB3/CIFS?
