Veeam restore vm with disk on differnt datastore

Hi All,

I was wondering wat happens if you restore a vm which has multiple disk's on different datastore? Does veeam restore all to one datastore or does Veeam restores the vmdk files to original locations? at the moment i cannot test this. But perhaps some knows the answer.

Hi John,

With Veeam you can either choose to restore to the original location, this option will preserve all VMs initial configuration settings, or select "Restore to a new location, or with different settings" option. This option provides you with an ability to restore VMs to a different location and/or with different settings.
