Hi Gurus,
we are testing the RMAN plugin for ORACLE.
The backup works well.
We're testing the restore process, it works well with the data but we are unable to restore the control file from the backup.
Consider that we did two backups of control file one explicit in the RMAN script an the other with the "AUTOBACKUP" options.
The files are in the repository.
To restore the control file the Data Base has to be in No MOUNT, but in this state, when we try to allocate the CHANNEL SBT_TAPE of the plugin we receive the error "database not mounted"....so we are in a deadlock.
Can you please explain in details the process to restore a backupped control file?
We are on RedHat 7.6, Oracle dabase 12.2 and Last version of Veeam B&R.

Re: Veeam RMAN plugin for Oracle - Restore control file
After severl test we figure out the problem.
The allocation of the channel and the restore command must be put in the same RUN statement.
