Veeam Server Concurrent tasks limits

Hi,

We are planning an installation for a customer that haves too many remote offices. We are planning to do hourly backup and replica taks in all remote offices.

The remote offices infrastructure design is not a problem but we have a question because too many concurrent tasks are going to run simultaneously.

We saw in theory that each concurrent task consume 400mb but i dont see the consurrent task limit. How much concurrent tasks can veeam backup server support? Can we expand the veeam backup ram exponentialy?

I'm wondering what approximate number you refer to by "too many". Thanks.

Initially 50-70 concurrent tasks but we want to know the limit to know how much can we scale in future.

Please we want to know the veeam backup server limits.

Each concurrent task also requires a separate CPU core, so just adding memory infinitely wouldn't work. That said you can spread the processing load between multiple proxies, while backup server itself requires 4 GB RAM plus 500 MB RAM for each concurrent job (not task).

In the infrastructure design veeam backup server dont process any task because we want to process tasks only by proxies.

I see what you say and i know i need about 500mb per job but, there is a limit of concurrent jobs running for the veeam backup server sizing?

There's no hard-coded limit.
