Hi.
I'm going to be rebuilding our Veeam B&R server and replacing its 2TB disks with 4TB disks.
I will be able to copy all the of the historical .vrb /.vbk files to another location temporarily while the server is rebuilt.
given the amount of data to be shifted around id rather not take a suck it and see approach.
plan...
Backup config/database.
copy storage folder to temp location.
rebuild server with new disks.
import config/database
copy back storage folder.
or do I just build a new server and import the old backup folder ?

Re: Veeam server rebuild - wish to keep restore points
This approach looks fine. Once you rescan the backup repository, you should be able to continue existing jobs.ckent wrote: Backup config/database.
