Veeam Snapshot cant be removed after backup

Hi , We are using Veeam V5 backing up virtual server on Vmware ESXi. after the backup of the virtual servers via VC Veeam complains about that it could not move he snapshot and I should try to remove it manually. but when I go to the snapshot manager there is nothing there but it is on the storage /volume. when I try to run a manual snapshot and then try to delete all it also fails. basically Veeam is not cleaning up properly ,, is there a post backup command to help clear this or do I need to do something else.

Are you running in virtual appliance mode?

Hi thanks for the reply , no veeam server is a physical server , it is sitting on the vm. Iam using network .

OK I am totally confused with you reply, is Veeam a physical server, or is it sitting in a VM?

Anyway, if you are saying you are using "network" processing mode, then this is different issue unrelated to Veeam. You may try the link above, or better yet contact VMware support with assistance on removing snapshots. Veeam does not process snapshot removals, we only issue an API call asking vCenter to do this. Any further processing is done by VMware. Issues removing snapshots are typically resulted by issues with vCenter itself, for example backend database issues.
