Veeam Standard license with Fujitsu CS800 appliance

We have a backup appliance from Fujitsu CS800 which we are using with our existing backup software. I was wondering if I could use it with the VBR Standard license?

Since Futjisu CS800 will be mounted as either NFS or CIFS share, it will not be detected as a dedup appliance to Veeam. We will then be disabling the deduplication and compression from Veeam and enable it on the box (it is already enabled).

Please suggest if I can use the Standard license as it serves my purpose.

yes, CIFS (SMB) shares can be used with standard license.

What about NFS share?

for the current version, you can only use NFS repositories with a Linux server which mounts the NFS share.

for future versions we are working on direct NFS support (currently in beta phase)
