Veeam V7 VM Backup Logs

Post by joestram »

Hi All,

We have a few of our backed up VMWare virtual machines that have gigabytes of log files.

We are wanting to remove the log files and I understand they are just there for troubleshooting purposes.

Is it just a matter of selecting them all and hitting delete?

What are the ramifications of deleting the logs.

Thanks

Joe

Hi Joe, yes please feel free to do this, this will cause no issue. This whole issue with large in-guest logs has been fixed in v8, by the way. Thanks!
