Veeam VBR V12 and NetApp 9.13.1 Support

Hi everyone,

We need to upgrade our NetApp clusters to ONMTAP 9.13.1 at the request of NetApp Support however we understand that Veeam VBR 12 doesn't officially support this release yet and we were wondering if anyone knew when it will be supported.

Any information would be most welcome.

9.13.1 is currently in QA.
Unfortunately I can’t share any ETA yet but I’ll check today and update your thread once there is an update.

We have some issues after upgrading the array in our lab to 9.13.1 - working with NetApp support on it...

Edit: hmm, there was a post in there describing the issue (errors during snapshot removal), but this post has apparently been deleted which causes my follow-up post to make no sense anymore and I can’t edit it.

ONTAP 9.13.1 is now officially supported and listed in our helpcenter:

Please be sure you read the following KB carefully as 9.13.1 changed some snapshot/volume deletion logic that will impact your installation:

We aim to address this change in Veeam Backup & Replication 12a.
