Veeam, Vmware, SQL Cluster, Any way?

I love Veeam, but can't seem to find anyway to create a SQL cluster within my Vmware cluster, that would be backed up via Veeam, everything seems to involve physical RDM's which means I have to use netbackup which is a pain in the @#$@#. Is there no option for this? Is one coming maybe?

If you can use vRDMs then it will be possible to backup this VM with Veeam.
