Hi Veeam Team,
I know that Veeam support Huawei storages, but how it works with WORM feature? Is able to be a target repository?
+ Info: https://support.huawei.com/enterprise/e ... d/overview
Looks a similar solution like Linux Hardened Repos.

Re: Veeam WORM with Huawei Storage?
Hello,
the Huawei storage integration is for Backup from storage snapshots.
Short answer: no
3rd party WORM (no matter which vendor) can only work with specific integration for Veeam backups. 3rd party WORM in general works different than Veeam Hardened Repository. One of the challenges are failed backups. A "non-integrated" 3rd party WORM would just lock the incomplete backup file. When Veeam tries to clean up that file it gets a "denied". That means the whole backup chain is "lost" for the time of the WORM lock.
Best regards,
Hannes
