Hello,
I just installed the Compatibility Patch for Veeam5 to support our vSphere5 environment. We renamed a VM and powered it off. Usually when I initiate a Full VM restore, the new VM will be restored and the old (renamed) VM will not be touched. However, after the Compatibility patch installation, the VM restore actually removed/deleted the original renamed VM.
Why is that? None of the previous restore processes done anything like that. The only thing I can point to is the compatibility patch.

Re: Veeam5 (with Comp Patch) Restore issue
Should not be the case. Logs will show what had exactly happened so I recommend to contact support directly. Thanks.

Re: Veeam5 (with Comp Patch) Restore issue
The only problem is that version 5 is soon to be 2 years old, and is no longer supported (not even with said patch), so you will want to upgrade to the latest version first.
