Hey community,
I'm trying to inventory our Veeam Backups with Docusnap X and in order to do that I need the SQL authentication data, which we didn't set up.
So I'm asking you guys if there is a default sa password set up for the SQL database "VeeamBackup" when installing Veeam Backup & Replication.
Thanks in advance!

Re: VeeamBackup default sa password for SQL database?
Hi Kara,
The auth. data was configured during the B&R installation. There is no hardcoded password.
Thanks

Re: VeeamBackup default sa password for SQL database?
Oof thank you wishr, this means that I'm unable to inventory our backup, unless I set up an SQL authentication as well, right? Or is this impossible now that we've already chosen to use Windows authentication during the install of B&R?

It depends on what auth. options are offered in Docusnap itself . However, It should be possible to use any DB management tool to connect to the database using windows auth. and create a user, then use it for inventory scanning if windows auth. is not supported by Docusnap.
