Understand that VeeamZip does not have application aware processing. I believe this means, that if I back it up, when I restore it it's like I had turned off the power and crashed the system, right?
Although not preferred, that doesn't seem all that bad to me. Almost certainly the system will boot with the applications working, and if not you will have all the files.
Thoughts?
Thanks, -ken

Re: VeeamZip and Application Aware Processing
Hi Ken, not like you had turned off the power as VeeamZIP performs an application-aware backup using VMware Tools quiescence. Thanks!

Re: VeeamZip and Application Aware Processing
If veeam zip was created with vmware tools squiscing, it will be application consistent.
If you need a application aware restore point, then you can export a previously taken backup into a new vbk.
This way, you have a standalone Application Aware vbk.
1. take a quick Backup

2. Export the backup
