VeeamZip to remote site

Post by Aremac »

Question... I am copying a Veeamzip file to a remote site where comms between here and there are.. pretty bad. I do a proxy and repository at the remote site. Veeam replication, copy, etc jobs fail because of the coms but I can get the file accross with robocopy and it's abiltiy to restart /Z . My question is once I get the file to the remote site will I be able to restore it remotely without installing Veeam Server at the remote site (using veeam b&R from my primary site)

Yes - if you have both proxy and repository in the DR site, you can restore there while keeping all the restore traffic local to that site.
