Veeam explorer do not show virtual disk where is DB
Hi all,
today we make a recovery test with an exchange 2010 on windows 2008R2 server after made all upgrade to veeam at last 6.5 release (next week we upgrade to 7.*).
But we have problem, when veeam explorer for exchange start we can browse file system for search .edb file but is the filesystem of disk C: from mail server but.... our mail server has exchange db on other disk (on m:).
How can go on ? i tried a normal file retrive from exchange server and files from M: are accessibile and recoverable but how i can choose that disk from exchange explorer ?
thanks
marco

Marco, if you can restore the corresponding EDB file via FLR, you can just double-click it in the Backup Browser to open in Veeam Explorer for Exchange.

I'm not sure we can refer to this behavior as a bug until it is confirmed by support. Basically, all VM disks should be displayed in the Backup Browser when you start Exchange Restore Wizard. So I suggest to contact them directly. Thanks.

ok, in next week we upgrade to last versione, so i'll wait then make some test and if need call support.
In this moment with last 6.5 version the standard file recover wizard show all disk but the exchange wizard show only content from C disk.
thank you
