Ver 4.1.2 Standard Edition Exchange 2007 Backup-restore

Post by Wad4iPod »

Can a restore be done at all with this version of VEEAM?
if so, at what level? Mailbox, store etc..

Any chance there's some handy docs for this?

Hello Kevin,

I assume you're talking about v5 Standard Edition, right? If this is the case, then please have a look at the comparison table for Standard and Enterprise versions: http://www.veeam.com/files/veeam_backup ... _cs_ee.pdf

As you may see Standard Edition doesn't include Application Item Recovery Wizards, you need to be using Enterprise Edition for that. On top of that, here is a short description about what this Exchange restore wizard can do:

Hope it helps!

For both version 4.1.2 (which had no editions), and version 5.0 Standard Edition you can restore at mailbox store level (MDB files with file level recovery).

I would recommend you to contact our sales representative for more accurate information about all current sales and promo campaigns, but as far as I know It's about 300 $ per socket.

Also note that you might be eligible for a free upgrade, please look through our sticked F.A.Q. topic for more info:
