Verbose Notifications

Post by ken.wilson »

Hello,

I have been looking over the user guide and the forums but I can't see a way to get this done. If it's able to be done I am sure I am over looking something simple.

What I am looking for is more verbose email notifications. Today we get emails from Veeam but they only have basic details for each VM (Name, Status, Start time, End time, Processed, Read, Transferred, Duration, Details) but no details from that VM on what it did and used.

I wanted to know more timing details and what proxy was used and how long each of these things have taken. Basically all the stats from the console for the last run but in an email.

Have I missed something on the global or job settings? Is this even possible?

Thanks,

Ken

Backup Reporting in Veeam One provide tons of additional reports that you can schedule as well. Use 30day trial to test it.

If you look at the Powershell forum you can find addituonal reporting examples from other users.

Was going to suggest the mentioned powershell scripts, or you could even 'Attatch a Task' to an alert in Event Viewer. This would provide you with time stamps etc.
