verify Config backup password

Hi again,

I thought I had already posted this on the forum with a previous question - but as there was no account linked to my email then I obviously didn't. Sorry if I have made a mistake.

I have used the extract tool to verify I have the correct password recorded for the encrypted backups - thank you for your help with this.

How can I simply verify I have the correct password for the Veeam Application Configuration backup?

Hi Pirog

To verify the configuration backup password, I use the restore wizard until the step where I have to provide the password:

You can use the validate button in this step. After you have validated the password, you can close the restore wizard.
