Re: Veritas Enterprise Vault backup with Veeam
Hello Asim
Veritas provides a kb article for backup best practice:
https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.100006827
Veritas Enterprise Vault Server is deployed on a Windows machine. The database is on a Microsoft SQL server (MSSQL). You can use Veeam (VBR or Agent) to protect this windows machine and the MSSQL server.
Please read the kb article from Veritas to be aware what additional components you need to protect. Most likely Veeam can also protect them if you follow the kb article.
Best,
Fabian
